RUSSIA’s Economy has started to COLLAPSE as the impact of the Sanctions hit home. Russia’s OIL & GAS Revenue is down 63% in the first 11 months of 2023 compared with the revenue Russia was earning prior to the invasion of Ukraine. In addition to this huge reduction in income Expenditure is continuing to increase due to the investment in the War, which means that the Russian Economy is now incurring massive LOSSES. Day 669 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, launches strikes, and shells both military and civilian targets. The enemy actively uses tactical aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducts assault operations with the support of armored vehicles. The adversary has increased the number of artillery shelling. Thus, the number of enemy artillery shelling in the operational area of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group exceeds 1,000 each day.

During the day of December 24, there were 48 combat engagements. The enemy launched 29 air strikes, launched 26 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have wounded civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The operational situation in the east and the south of Ukraine remains difficult.

VOLYN and POLISSYA AXIS: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXIS: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. More than 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Klyusy, Bleshnya, Leonivka (Chernihiv oblast), Seredyna-Buda, Prohres, Volfyne, Basivka, Myropillya (Sumy oblast), Huryiv Kozachok, Veterynarne, Hatyshche, Budarky, Topoli (Kharkiv oblast).

KUPYANSK AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks in the vicinities of Synkivka (Kharkiv oblast) and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk oblast). In that area, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops. The occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Petropavlivka and Kyslivka (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

LYMAN AXIS: the adversary conducted no offensives. The invaders launched air strikes near Yampolivka and Torske (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

BAKHMUT AXIS: the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks of the adversary near Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka and Andriyivka (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements caYme under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, New York (Donetsk oblast).

AVDIYIVKA AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiyivka, and 15 more attacks in the vicinities of Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast), where the enemy made failed attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. Also, the occupiers launched air strikes near Ocheretyne, Tonenke, Avdiyivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Keramik, Ocheretyne, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Karlivka, Netailove (Donetsk oblast).

MARYINKA AXIS: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinities of Mar’inka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the adversary, with air support, launched 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The settlements of Oleksandropil, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Maryinka, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka were under artillery and mortar fire from the occupiers.

SHAKHTARSKE AXISA: the enemy conducted no offensives. The occupiers launched an air strike in the vicinity of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). The adversary fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine, Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast).

ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 3 adversary attacks near Robotyne and south of Hulyaipole (Zaporizhzhia oblast). In that area, the adversary made failed attempts to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions. Around 20 settlements, including Levadne, Hulyaipole, Huliaipilske, Orikhiv, Novoandriyivka, Pyatykhatky (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

ODESA operational-strategic group, KHERSON AXIS: the adversary fired artillery at the city of Kherson, the settlements of Tyahynka, Komyshany, Bilozerka (Kherson oblast) and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast).

The enemy did not abandon his intention to drive our units from the left bank of the Dnipro, made 23 failed assaults. The attacks were repelled and the enemy retreated having suffered major losses. The Ukrainian troops are holding the line, continuing to retain their positions and firing for effect on the enemy.

During the day of December 24, the Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 12 concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment, 1 ammunition depot and 1 air defense system of the adversary.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 2 artillery systems and 1 command post of the russian invaders.

However, Russia still managed to sell 99% of its October oil exports above the $60 a barrel price cap, according to a Bloomberg report and KSE Institute research. During the month of October, oil exported from the major ports of Russia sold for an average of $79.40 a barrel.
