If a person needs to pay for a year $30,000 might be needed. Rent runs about $1,200 a month. Add in utilities and there it is.

I’d still think there are often month-to-month places to rent. A cruddy apt even in bigger cities shouldn’t cost too much. At most one usually needs security deposit and first month rent.
