Glad my wife ditched the stuff 41 years ago. Nothing to mess up, more free time, and $$$ saved. Does her own hair too. Never cuts it.
(It used to break off at about 2 feet. I don’t know if it was menopause, but in the last 7-8 years it has reached 3 1/2 feet, and I love it!)
Does she also only wear dresses or skirts down to her ankles, swim in a “bathing dress”, and keep her arms covered at all times?

Hey, no problem. Yes, my wife and I believe in holiness being inward, but it affects the outward. Seasonally, we wear short sleeves. She wears dresses and skirts that are half way between knee and ankle, for freedom of movement (climbing stairs is not a hurried effort in an Amish full length dress).
But lack of modesty in dress, (until the last 50-60 years), was largely found in the seedy lifestyles.
I was raised Presbyterian, where in the 50s-early 60s, the women at our country church in Mercer county Illinois always wore dresses and skirts to church, and most of the time away from church. Trousers were for farm work or cold temps. I haven’t been to a Presby church for decades, but assume yoga pants (industrial grade pantyhose, per my wife’s description) are quite common there.
As one older woman bluntly said of modesty at that Presby church, (when I was a teen there 67-73): “It’s about a woman not showing her behind or her crotch”. I overheard that comment in the foyer, as the young guys were doing their usual ‘hanging out’ at the base of the wide stairs to the sanctuary, to watch teen girls in mini skirts and mini dresses ascend/descend them.
By the late 60s the schools’ hemline rule went higher by the year, until the boards decided that allowing jeans and slacks on girls was better than mini skirts.
My city girl wife was raised going to church on Easter and Christmas. Yet even though she didn’t have a strong Christian foundation, (going to the bars with her girlfriends) she respected herself, determined to save herself for marriage.
I admit that when I spotted her in the crowd I was attracted to her beauty, and after talking to her, her personality. She wasn’t dressed real tight, and had a sport jacket on.
It was the next night on our first date, that without the jacket, but with rather snug slacks and top, I realized she was getting sized up from head to toe by guys at the pizzeria, the disco, and the house party we dropped in on, before going to her house.
With the exception of two 50# gains from pregnancies, her hourglass figure is still terrific. She just doesn’t flaunt it, and hasn’t since being born again in fall 82.
