Yes, some horrible things have happened to the innocent. When we finally realize that eternity is more real and more important than the vapor that this life we have on earth is, we will have peace, if we will just trust the Lord.

The statement "Even a hideous life of constant abuse, torture, and injustice at the hands of true monsters can be compensated for by an eternity in a pleasant Hereafter" is the epitome of cynicism.
