Ugh. I spent years living and working in combat areas. I drove through peaceful looking villages minutes from where bad shit was happening. I could have taken vids of those villages that made it look like everything was OK - look, no war here! Everything's fine! The people are happy! Oldest propaganda trick in the book.

By any objective measure, Youcrayne is being dismantled. Fully 25% of its population has fled and, if history's a guide, the vast majority of them won't be returning. That is an unmitigated disaster.

Towns and villages there are being bombed into piles of rubble. That is a fact and that is disastrous.

Hundreds of thousands of young, Youcraynian men have been maimed and killed. That is a disaster.

You can parse words all you want but all of those facts lead any rational person to the conclusion that Youcrayne is getting thrashed.
