Ukraine could have let disenfranchised regions secede, but instead chose war. Peace was not wanted Those regions did not secede, they were seized by Russia. Nor were they disenfranchised. They could have participated in the following elections if it were not for Russian occupation. Enough with the Russian propaganda. It is Russia who chose war over peace.
