Most of these are blue collar jobs. Maybe if they paid domestic workers a livable wage in these jobs they wouldn’t have to import workers. I mean look at the cost of bringing them over here to work. They have to pay recruiters, pay transportation costs to bring them over, pay for language instructors to teach them English, pay for housing and one meal a day, that adds up quick. Seems it would be cheaper just to pay domestic workers a bit more to draw them into these jobs. They even have laborers on that list, are you telling me we don’t have enough of them when we just had 10 million illegals crossing the border?

Yeah, we have all these people here illegally or under asylum status—the latter, I believe, are allowed to work here but apparently we will support them if they don’t?

So we have the millions Biden let in, and now we are working on getting more, and not even on HB visas but 10-year visas? I have never heard of this.

Maybe just a ploy to bring in even more people from other nations to fill ours up? It seems odd.

They don't want to pay a living wage. They want as many migrant laborers as possible who will work for the lowest wage possible. That leads to crime, prostitution, etc. among the migrants. This is a core of neo-liberal economics. It's known as "the race to the bottom".
