Nice! I have what I call square knees. They’re indestructible. I should be good for life. I guess we’ll see. I’m a firm believer in keeping active, you just have to keep going. I’m 59. I still smoke and I’m the one who blows up the pool toys every year no problem.

I smoke and I can hold my breath for a minute and a half while swimming. Of course I don’t smoke store bought cigs. What we smoke is just tobacco without chemicals.
Good luck with that. I’m approaching my 4th non cigarette smoking Christmas.
(I had noticed my general stamina decreasing, and the thin air up here wasn’t helping.)
I erred before, about Dad’s daily efforts on the elliptical machine. He manages roughly 2 miles a day instead the one I stated, against mildly “uphill” settings in a 15 minute effort each morning, while monitoring his electro-cardio behavior with a Holter monitor.
It is keeping him with us, but he pushes a bit too hard now and then.
(A-fib / Tachycardia) He has a rigorous medical monitoring and tracking process that he carefully performs with and after his daily exercise.
