ENGINE TYPE: DOHC 24-valve 3.5-liter V-6, 302 hp, 258 lb-ft; permanent-magnet AC synchronous electric motor, 67 hp, 214 lb-ft; combined power rating, 360 hp; 1.4-kWh lithium-ion battery pack

Basically I was told that there is an issue with one of the battery modules but it’s gonna cost me 12k just for the parts because they need to replace the whole battery pack.

An Arizona car owner was duped by false advertising + Climate hysteria and fear

... for a check engine light.... AKA the money light

.. $18,000 for the battery and another $2,000 to have it installed... run, its a money pit

.. less than 70,000 miles on it ... that battery baked in the AZ heat, and now its shot.

...According to Nerdwallet,... Nerdwallet does not know its a$$ from page 3

Electric and hybrid vehicle batteries are warrantied for eight years or 100,000 miles. Batteries start to lose capacity after you drive off the lot. Q. How many useful KwH do you have at 100,000 miles?

According to Brauer, the batteries regularly last much longer. Brauer is a dimwit

“It’s not uncommon for these batteries to last 15-plus years and more than 150,000 miles,” Brauer said. Brauer has never opened an owners forum, see link above. EPA told me I could get 38 mpg from my car. Still waiting for that dream to come true

..“So, $20,000 or a pile of scrap metal in my driveway,”.. Park it on your lawn, your neighbours will forever be reminded you care about mother urth

+++++++++++

How does one possibly know this? Was this battery being produced back when Obama was ordained in 2008? I don’t think you can accurately predict long term battery degradation with an accelerated Lab or field test. I call bullshite on Brauer.
