Hey — the similarities between my self-serving endorsements and those of the Cadaver are not purely coincidental. I hope I’ve muddied the water sufficiently on that point.
Anyway, my young bride thought I was looking good — especially when I came home to her from the army and gave her a (cheap) engagement ring I’d bought at the PX a day or two prior.
I must say, though, that she appreciated that ($84) ring; and in the year of her 75th birthday, I bought her a ring more befitting of her majesty.
