A guy I was dating in high school back in 1964 contracted chicken pox. I'd already had them as a baby. Got them from my older siblings. I never knew if the pox had affected his health later on, having contracted it so late. He was a senior at the time. I was a junior.

If forced to risk ochitis or myocarditis, I'll go with ochitis every time. It's not even a competition. I can live without functioning testes far more comfortably than I can live without a functioning heart. You are making a point with your question, but not the point you think you are making. Public trust in big Pharma is gone for very good reason.
