Perhaps the difference is that I’m a Conservative, rather than a Libertarian. As I see it, going full Libertarian winds up with leaving a GAPING power vacuum that the Left can easily slide into, as they have no interest in supporting Libertarian values...but rather see our side not fighting them, so they DIVE IN and take control. We have to fight them AT THEIR LEVEL, and NOT run away, and if that means EXPANDING government to defeat them, then so be it.

Technically I wouldn’t be considered a Libertarian myself because I too disagree with them on a number of issues. But I can’t think offhand of any votes Massie has made that I would disagree with. Him and Rand Paul are the only 2 voices on certain issues that need to be addressed and it would be a shame to lose either of them. Beside I’ve never agreed with ANY politician 100%, not even Ronald Reagan.
