I think regular aspirin is about 4 times the miligrams of the low dose aspirin. People are certainly NOT being advised to take full dose aspirin on a regular basis. Regarding the thin blood, while iron may be one way to help, when I was young I was always anemic and was told to take iron supplements by my doctor. It did NOT help at all. Finally I read in a book by Adelle Davis that one cause of anemia was premature death of red blood cells (RBC), She recommended taking Vitamin E for that because E can help increase the lifespan of an RBC from 85 days to 115 days. I started taking Vitamin E supplements daily, and never had the anemia problem again. I am 85 and in reasonable health still.

I’m glad that Vitamin E is helping you. My anemis has disappeared since getting off of aspirin and taking iron supplements. When I was anemic I got hooked on eating ice, which I found out us a symptom of severe anemia. Did a lot of damage to my teeth.
