Give away $2 Trillion to the swamp and the people's lot in life will improve with all that free cash floating around in someone else's pocket. When they used to teach home economics in school it was a real thing because there was such a thing as home economics with everyone doing their part to provide the things needed for the well-being of the homestead. The menfolk worked in the fields to grow stuff and around the place to build stuff and fix stuff and the women worked to keep them fed and clothed and tried to civilze them too.

Free stuff is a misnomer. No one gets free stuff. The gubmint prints money and gives it to them so they can go and buy stuff because no one is actually given free stuff. We're capitalists. You have to buy stuff, at least after your $999 shoplifting limit runs out. It's the getting stuff without providing in kind contributions of labor in return that is the downfall of all communist societies starting with the first year of the Mayflower colony.
