A Republican-led House committee summoned the leaders of Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania and MIT to Capitol Hill on Tuesday for a scalding critique of their efforts to stop antisemitism on their campuses since the eruption of war in Israel and Gaza.

(snip)

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) asked the presidents about the limits of free speech. “Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate Harvard’s rules on bullying and harassment?” she asked.

“Calling for the genocide of Jews is antisemitic,” Gay replied. “And that is antisemitic speech. And as I have said, when speech crosses into conduct, we take action.”

“So is that a yes?” Stefanik asked.

“When speech crosses into conduct, we take action,” Gay repeated.

If I were asking those questions, my follow up to Gay would have been:

So, are you saying someone would have to die as a result before you would do anything?

During a House Education Committee hearing, Rep. Elise Stefanik (Rep-NY) ripped into Harvard President Claudine Gay over actions taken to punish acts of antisemitism on Harvard's campus.

Stefanik's questions were fair but Harvard President’s lack of candor was appalling. A school administrator should not be on the fence about students' explicit or implicit calls for genocide of a race of people being a violation of school policy.

Claudine Gay.

Instead of bitching about it, remove their tax exempt status and start taxing the hell out of their endowments. I mean let’s lave these leftist colleges pay their fair share, right?

Most likely the idiot who cant get upset about campus-led genocide is a (gag) “diversity” appointee.

When speech crosses into conduct

Define conduct - like when students are forced out of buildings and study groups? Is that conduct or is conduct when a non Maga identfying person is executed in a portable gas chamber on campus [the context if this is done to a MAGA identified or associated person through extreme conduct such as citing articles from the bill of rights then we have to look at this differently]. Just asking for some clarity here.

Their endowments should be seized and paid out as reparations to white people.

Their decades of blatant anti-white discrimination needs to have consequences.
