She is pretty. I love the screen.

To be purchased and driven by those too old to use.
They will creep around like 911s, might as well be Priaps drivers.

I was thinking about getting a used but late model Mercedes recently and spoke to my mechanic about it (he has much experience with German cars as well as others. He owns the garage.).
He said he wouldn't recommend Mercs or BMW's lately. Many problems, particularly with trannies.

It looks OK although it’s not “quite right” as far as I’m concerned. There is something besides nostalgia that is missing in the new Mercedes but was present in spades in the mid-50’s 300 SL Gullwing Coupe.

I’ll take a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Roadster 4-Speed Convertible, but they are as expensive :(

By a 911 and actually drive it like it’s meant to be driven. I’ve had Mercedez, worst car I ever owned, three BMW’s and now we have a Porsche SUV and the 911. It’s 10 years old and every bit of fun to drive as when new. Tracked it at Watkins Glen also for the experience. You need to do that once just to understand how good the car is designed and easy to drive fast.

Nice car with only 100 can-bus modules to fail.
