When they noticed the clots they installed a filter in my chest. The clots blew past the filter but stayed stuck to it. They removed the filter through my neck. The doctor “cleaned out” down through my groin. As to how, I don’t know. The doctor said most of the clot came out in one long piece which she photographed and sent to other doctors.
You're very lucky it's not the coroner finding them.
