Is the Phillipines closer to the Middle East than, say the East Coast of the US. The A10 is a ground support, anti tank tool. By the time there are tanks on Taiwan, I imagine there will be hundreds of transport ships and a couple of aircraft carriers on the bottom of the straits. In other words, it will be over.
I COULD see them in the skies over Yemen, shooting up some Houthi. Or flying over souther Lebanon.
The only other place that would make any sense is Korea. But again,they would more likely be in Japan.
Any ship foolish enough to come within range of a shore based A-10 would be in serious danger.

I’d guess support for RP itself. Establish air superiority w/ nearby carrier group and F-16’s based in RP, and then the A-10’s blow the Chinese off their artificial reefs and such...
