It’s the group that does tours on campus. I forget their names, but they wear the same thing on tours.
It was quite a contrast to Duke where the tour guide was in cut off shorts and a t-shirt.
My daughter went to Bama. With over a 4.0 GPA and a 35 on her ACT, she could have gone to Duke.
Alabama gives fantastic scholarships to out of state students. My daughter went there too from out of state. It included a year for graduate school also and lots of extras for technology products, exchange program funds and other stipends. Interestingly Arizona State had a great offer too, but we thought it was too far away.
As was the second, third, and fourth nights. Keggers ever Friday & Saturday, too.
The Colonel also brought a keg of beer in after every ROTC exercise on Saturdays, he got soused with the rest of us. That was freshman year, the new Colonel after him stopped that.
Still, Gonzaga prepared me well for life in Germany. I was an anomaly, an American that could hang with the Germans. Lived off base for 4 years, in a Mosel town of Traben-Trarbach.
Although my GPA was a shade under 3, I graduated in 4 years with 141 semester hours, a BBA in Public Accounting, and unofficial minors in ROTC and Critical Thinking (thanks to the core curriculum).
