Sadly, this isn’t the middle ages... Banning travel between states isn’t an option. That’s one thing that Covid did prove. Banning travel (and they did in Australia) won’t save you... The pied piper eventually plays his tune. If there is some sort of respiratory disease out there, it will spread and those who are susceptible will get it.

The spread of the Spanish flu was a result of boat travel... So in an age of jet travel by commercial, passenger and private jets... The idea that you can contain a disease by banning travel is pure nonsense.

Find treatments to deal with the disease... We deal with pneumonia, flu and other respiratory disease yearly... Take the treatments for those diseases and apply it to this new respiratory disease... That’s the smartest way to confront it.

And don’t lockdown the healthy to save those who will catch and possibly die from this disease. That’s a sure way to destroy our economy and ruin our society... Another lesson learned from the insane panic related to Covid.

The Spanish flu killed 3 to 5% of the worlds population... On the high end that’s about 400 million people in todays population of 8 billion. As bad as it was we survived it.

The idea that it won’t eventually happen again is foolishness... It will and when it does we will know it and dealing with it by destroying our society and economy is not the answer.

Myco is not a new disease it comes around every few years. It is better known as Walking Pneumonia and is relatively mild and goes away in a couple of weeks for adults, it is harder to get rid of if you are very young or have other conditions.
