The main marker of mini strokes is a precursor to a major stroke.
His speech is definitely affected.

I have had two In one case I had no balance for a couple of days. In the other I had stroke symptoms on one side of my body for a week and had to look straight ahead while walking or I would drift off to the left for several months.
