At the risk of intense flaming, we allowed women to raise the children as bubble wrapped babies afraid of their own shadows.
We did not allow our kids to be kids but rather to be smothered and forced into “safe” avenues.
The word “safe” became a manta and a curse. Thats where we messed up big time. Think of all the nonsense we did in the 80’s and 90’s...no dodgeball, no football, no toy guns, boys could not be boys but had to be as girls.
Thats where we messed up...giving them everything, smothering them and demanding nothing from them.
And I blame women in general for most of it....AND weak fathers who said nothing.
“At the risk of intense flaming, we allowed women to raise the children as bubble wrapped babies afraid of their own shadows.”
Even worse, women stopped raising their children altogether and handed them off to people they didn’t know for 10 hours a day.
