You will now hear from pot smokers how cannabis doesn’t do this because it doesn’t do this to them.
They claim it isn’t like alcohol, but from my experience, it is more like it than they want to admit. There are friendly drunks and there are mean drunks. Most people who drink don’t get violent, but some do. My wife could put away a bottle of wine and be silly and fall asleep. My friend Bill could drink the same bottle and beat his wife and put her in the hospital and not remember doing it the next day.
Same with cannabis. Most people go mellow, get munchies, get kind of silly, but not all. Some people react really badly. My buddy likes smoke because it makes him feel strong and invincible. He gets really aggressive. It is almost a Jekyll/Hyde thing. Me? It makes me nauseous.
So did this chick go nutz after two bong hits? Over one hundred stab wounds would seem to say so.
Mind altering substances are not always safe for everyone.
Good post.
I am a fan of On Patrol Live and you can see this with both alcohol, marijuana and other drugs consistently.
You never know how someone will react under the influence of any substance—every person is different.
One hilarious marijuana stop recently—the cop pulls over a car for reckless driving and you can see the marijuana smoke billowing out of the driver side front window.
The cop comments “I have not seen this much marijuana smoke since watching a Cheech and Chong movie.” The driver and the passenger start laughing hysterically.
Innocent stuff—but obviously that car needed to be off the road before they or others were in an accident.
