My dad had a 1972 Buick LeSabre back in the eighties that had rust spots and such, but it was a tank, and driving it was an absolute blast!

My dad was retired career Navy, and me and my buddies were going to buy a bunch of cans of gray spray paint and paint it, put a pair of cleats on each front and rear fenders, and paint a hull number on it (DD-857 would've been my choice!)

Heh, when you drove it, the entire car floated gently up and down!

we had an electra 225, bench seat in the back I could slide my 4 12” speaker Peavey amp into the back.
