My friend ordered a Uber black when we went to lunch on afternoon and a 2023 Navigator pulled up. I was impressed with the interior.

The only thing that’s stopped me from buying a Lincoln is that stupid push button gear shifter on the dashboard.

I had a Lincoln MKT which seats 8 with EcoBoost which got stolen in the parking lot of a trail near Monument Colorado.

Great mileage, tons of acceleration. Super luxurious interior with light colored leather and nice wood accents, heated front and rear seats, amazing moonroof. It was a great car.

My complaint about almost all new vehicles. Paint them the same color. Take the name badges off.
And, they all look alike. Can’t tell a Kia from a Chevy, from a Ford, from a Hyundai, from a Jaguar....
All over tech’ed, over priced, and uninspired.

My initial thoughts are that it looks smaller than I thought it would/should be.

They’ve always been great vehicles - that whole line. But pricey of course. And good luck finding a gently used one for a good deal.

What? That makes it a classic!

I can’t find the picture, but somebody did a vehicle outline overlay of several recent cars of the same year but different brands. Each outline in the overlay was labeled with the car name. There was barely a smidgen of difference in the shapes.

Meh, just an overpriced Ford Explorer which is already overpriced. Probably has all the crap that annoys a driver (auto stop/start, etc) and many things that we don’t know about like reporting your speed to FedGov.

Agree it’s better and cheaper to buy a restored classic car or truck that is of higher quality than it came from the factory.

The need to back off all the bling and other useless items and use higher quality electronic devices most come from China.

All ugly. All the same. All over-sized. All over-teched. All awful.

Everything is run by wires, even the steering wheel on my neighbor’s honda crv. It keeps it between the lines for him.

No thanks, too much stuff to go wrong and need diagnostics to troubleshoot. I’m staying with older vehicles. When we retire our newest, an 07 Highlander, I’ll be looking for something from the 90s or older.

I replaced the air suspension with a kit that included shocks, struts, and springs, on my son’s Mercyless (mercedes) suv. The most troublesome thing on it is gone.

Did you get it back? Get a new one?

Thank federal CAFE standards for that. All designs converge on the most aerodynamic shape. There is no getting around that.

not much of a mega SUV 8 passenger vehicle person, a small sedan is plenty for me. Don’t need a pick-up except a handful of times annually, a trailer is more useful.

I hate push-button everything. Tactile feedback is dying - BlackBerry was the harbinger of that trend. Column shifters are great. I’ll keep my 20 year old Buick, thanks.

No, there is nothing “Classic” about new computer vehicles.

I thought it was pretty cool on the Chrysler Windsor!
