Had a top-tier Suburban awhile back. Loved it, but finally sold it because I always felt like I was driving a bus. Also, at 15 MPG, I was filling it up every week to 10 days. Ouch..

That’s why I’m happy to keep rolling in my 90 chevy, ext cab, 8’ box, 4x4. It can haul big stuff outside, 6 adults inside, 5th wheel and bumper hitch. And far easier to work on than the wire bundle/ many sensor laden new stuff.
Two 4 dr (s10)blazers (01 and 04), both 2wd, also relatively easy to work on.
Wife’s 07 highlander has been a good rig.
