The only thing wrong with this is that they had Disney in the first place.

Join the club. I’ve been actively boycotting Disney for years.

Am proud to say I have convinced several families to drop Disney from their list of potential vacation destinations.

I just cite facts - very high cost, long-lines for attractions, a corrupt tiered pricing system, and a woke-pedo management.

FR POST——54 Bipartisan Lawmakers Urge Speaker Johnson Not
to Slip “Deep State Surveillance Authorization” in Defense Bill

If a govt organization is suspected of having political bias, that’s unconstitutional.

The US government cannot support that w/ tax dollars.

And this: a very pertinent point regarding the “outsourcing of censorship.”

NDAA SECTION 1532 “That which government is
constitutionally prohibited from doing, it cannot
contract with others to do.”

Let’s ensure that Section 1532 is preserved in the final version of the NDAA.

Musk’s X Issues Warning About NewsGuard
Newsmax ^ | Thursday, 23 November 2023 | Luca Cacciatore Michael Katz
FR Posted on 11/23/2023, 9:46:59 PM by cabojoe

Elon Musk’s social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, issued a new warning Wednesday about the left-wing ratings company NewsGuard. In a post on the site, X said it was the latest organization to be targeted by NewsGuard, which has systematically targeted conservative media.

“NewsGuard is about to publish a ‘report’ on misinformation on X. As a for-profit company, they will only share the data that underpins their purported research if you pay,” X explained. X then highlighted NewsGuard’s strategy in going after the platform — the same strategy it has employed on dozens of other companies. NewsGuard “uses these reports to pressure companies to buy their ‘fact-checking’ services. It’s a profit over any principle model,” X said.

THIS JUST IN——NewsGuard has former NSA and CIA director Michael Hayden on
it’s board......now resting in intensive care after critical eye surgery.

Hayden was rushed into surgery after he said he “saw” no difference
between “an American holding a flag and gun” and “a Hamas terrorist.”

Five Reasons Congress Should Strip Funding from Leftist Internet Traffic Cop NewsGuard
NewsBusters ^ | 11/21/2023 | Joseph Vazquez
FR Posted on 11/21/2023, 5:06:41 PM by JV3MRC

Leftist internet traffic cop NewsGuard is the farthest thing from being the unbiased media referee it purports to be. It is a government-funded operation designed to attack right-leaning media by going after their advertiser funding.

There are at least five core reasons why Congress should strip funding from NewsGuard in the latest National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) since it received a $750,000 taxpayer-funded grant from the Department of Defense.

The state funding of a leftist, so-called journalism gatekeeper that deceptively bills itself as “apolitical” is case in point. Such efforts by the government to censor media it does not approve of through the funding of a private organization is on its face unconstitutional. Moreover, NewsGuard’s inherent bias against right-leaning media and rubber-stamping of left-wing publications, its financing by special interests that compromise its objectivity, its apparent support of a communist Chinese government propaganda arm and its open celebration of its collusion with government make it little more than an Orwellian Ministry of Truth of the first magnitude.

Couple all that with the MRC’s analysis across two studies on NewsGuard’s media ratings and “Nutrition Labels” showing how the so-called media ratings firm is nothing more than a leftist political tool intended to silence the right and the problem becomes all too clear. It’s time for America’s legislators to finally take action.

Steven Brill, a Democrat activist and donor, founded NewsGuard in 2018
(and is now, thankfully, receiving professional care).

The group’s skewed rankings have been illegally used by ad agencies to block conservative media from obtaining advertising revenue in violation of Consumer Protection Law, as well as Section 5(a) of the Federal Trade Commission Act, that protects consumers from unfair business practices..

Elon Musk called for Brill’s company to be “disbanded immediately” in October following a report that it worked with the European Union on a code prompting governments to take action on alternative news sites.

Musk insightfully responded to Newsmax’s story on his comments, commenting Newsmax was pushing a political agenda in the guise of “guarding the public.”

<><>NewsGuard has harshly ranked media organizations critical of the Biden administration,
<><>reported on problems relating to the COVID pandemic,
<><>and published public service reports on the efficacy of vaccines.
<><>the Washington Times reported that NewsGuard is backed by ad giant Publicis,
<><>Publicis does significant business with Big Pharma companies including Pfizer.
