The question is why are you asking us? A half descent reporter would ask their congressional staff for a comment at least. They all have a PIO.

Then, if they refuse to respond, you can put it in the article. Now the reader has no idea what they are doing or why they are doing it. There might be a reasonable explanation, or not.

From various online sources, congressmen are being bombarded with phone calls right now about this issue...with constituents calling on them to resist the efforts of Reps Mike Turner and Mike Rogers to kill this "non-disclosure bill" (it's actually a rider to the NDAA).

As to why Reps Turner and Rogers are resisting transparency, the answer to that is that the DOD, Intel Community, and military contractors are applying pressure for them to kill the "bill."

Both congressmen are chairmen of House military and intelligence committees. In other words, it's the Deep State against the people.
