It will take more than this to spoil the globalist plans.
Any state which issues anonymous money, redeemable in gold and/or silver, will have a tremendous financial advantage.
Why?
No one would want to use US paper money anymore due to the loss in value from money printing and the resulting inflation.
People want privacy.
They want safety.
They do not trust the government to refrain from stealing their money.
They do not trust the government from shutting down access to their money for political purposes.
Texas would enhance its reputation as a safe place to do business.
Cash is anonymous money. Coinage is anonymous money.
The ability of governments to monitor every transaction, and thus control every part of every person's lives, is a very recently invented power.
An anonymous digital currency allows people to transact business via digital means safely, without fear of control or confiscation.
“he suggests that states create their own digital currencies – tied to a gold reserve”
Where does he think states are going to suddenly obtain gold reserves?
Remember, they cannot just print worthless paper money to buy that gold... and they cannot engage in diplomatic negotiations with other countries to obtain gold either.
“An anonymous digital currency allows people to transact business via digital means safely, without fear of control or confiscation.”
Seems to me that a digital currency would be much more trivial to confiscate than physical currency. Push one button and all those ones and zeroes move out of your ledger into another ledger, and the currency is gone.
Or we could just force Congress to adhere to the part of the Constitution which says “Congress shall have the power to COIN money.” The Founders deliberately did not say “print money”.
L
Just say NO to digital currency
It all depends on how the system is set up. Bitcoin and others show how it can be done. The currency is not set up to allow the issuer to do what you say.
However, the current banking system is pretty close. Consider the ability of the IRS to freeze and confiscate bank accounts, or the Canadian government ability to freeze bank accounts of the Truckers.
Digital currency is easily used as a weapon by tyrannical people. Gold, silver and paper currency to a lesser extent when all can accumulate it.
We already have digital currency, which is mostly controllable by the government.
We call it credit and debit cards.
(b) On receiving payment for a purchase of the digital currency together with any fee charged under Section 404A.0058, the comptroller shall:
(1) using the money received from the purchaser, buy a fractional number of troy ounces of gold equal to the number of units of the digital currency issued to the purchaser under Subdivision (2); and
(2) issue to the purchaser a number of units of the digital currency equal to the amount of gold that the comptroller purchases with the money received from the purchaser.

They will limit the quantity and frequency of your gas purchases.
The Federal Reserve is in its last few months of existence. There isn’t going to be any reset or CB digital currency. We will be on a gold backed US note. Probably by January 2025.
How is a State controlling a digital currency any different from the Fed?
Would I want California or Mass. to control my digital currency - heck no they’d do the same thing that is being threatened by the globalists...because they are cut of the same cloth.
Either will give too much power.
