That was how I found out about FR. That March for Justice was reported in the local news in Houston. I tried to join then, but had issues.
Started reading FR daily and I met some FReepers at a Stop the Recount rally in late 2000. Finally got on the site a couple of months later after e-mailing for help.
Those were some fun days.

Yes, FR was a lot more fun than it is now. Everyone wanted the best for this country. If they didn’t, they kept it to themselves.
