In fact, I have. I supported the Iraq war and studied Vietnam, thinking for years it was a noble pursuit.

When it comes to communist totalitarian states vs virtually anything else, except perhaps Islam, I can't think of any other form of government that wouldn't be preferable. I don't think there is anything particularly noble about it. It's just observable fact.

Vietnam was won if you studied it you’d know that.

The democrats in Congress cut off our allies when they were attacked.

Cam Ranh Bay would come in real handy right now against China, which is why we’re trying to ally with the communists in Vietnam.

Cutting off our allies in that case led to a holocaust in Cambodia, our allies in concentration camps or fleeing in boats, and we lost critical allies in the Pacific which has now become the most dangerous region for us.
