The emergence of LGBTQ including Transgenderism began for me with the 1973 decision by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) to remove homosexuality as a mental disorder from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). Removal followed a two-year campaign Newsweek described as ongoing disruptive, chaotic attacks on psychiatrists and physiologists. Yet throughout these disruptive attacks, no academic papers appeared at conferences refuting research previously done. Eventually onslaughts forced sufficient abstentions, under-votes, and apprehensive responses for a third of APA’s 17,000 plus membership to accumulate enough votes to approve removal.

Allowing voting for or against their peculiar interpretation of the scientific method resulted in Psychology and Psychiatry losing what tenuous hold they had on claims they were sciences. Instead, Psychology and Psychiatry have chosen to abandon pretenses of science in exchange for popular societal and political acclaim. The barriers erected to meaningful research about homosexuality remind me of Genesis 3:23-24, where the Lord God banished humanity from the Garden of Eden and placed an angel in the Garden to keep humanity away forever. By their actions, Psychology and Psychiatry appear content within their own Garden of Eden. They seem to consider the accoutrements of a religion to be more attractive than those of a science. The DSM is as likely to accumulate political manifestos and drug marketing brochures as any meaningful statements.

Karl Marx said, “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggle”. This view is limited to what can be observed, measured, or computed. Everything exists within the bounds of infinity. Humanity exists as swarms of creatures identified to be irradicated or dominated. There is no perception or acknowledgement of eternity where our Lord resides.

The Declaration of Independence says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. In this expression, the Creator reaches into our world from eternity to endow individual humans with inestimable value, while cautioning government to consider its own fallibility.

Today I heard of a funny movie called “Women with Balls” A large group of men that would “TRANS-fer to being women and dominate ALL women’s sports- basket BALL, etc. ALL to dominate all sports. Destroying those sports would be a huge wake-up to America.
