US Abrams tanks have entered Ukraine to be used in the northeastern part of the front-lines. There are nearly 30 M1 Abrams that are currently in the Ukrainian army, which may open up the road for further deliveries of M1 Tanks.

Russian forces were swept away by a massive storm in Crimea which has destroyed nearly all coastal fortifications on Crimea’s West coast. Russia has taken heavy losses again today, and almost no ground at all.

“Russian forces were swept away by a massive storm in Crimea which has destroyed nearly all coastal fortifications on Crimea’s West coast.”

In addition to the storm damage, there have been recent drone strikes on Russian Air Defenses on Crimea, which have in the past preceded other strikes on Russian forces on the Peninsula, Such as the Russian Black Sea Fleet HQ in Sevastopol.

Newsweek reported:

“he head of Ukraine’s main intelligence agency has promised that Kyiv has “plenty of surprises” in store for the Kerch Strait Bridge, which connects Russia with annexed Crimea.

Vasyl Maliuk, head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), said on Friday (25 Nov) that the bridge, which has twice been struck by Kyiv’s forces, is “doomed”, as he added that Ukraine will destroy the structure.

The Kerch Strait Bridge serves as a key supply route for Russia’s forces and is Moscow’s sole land link with Crimea”

Ukraine ping

On multiple occasions, Mother Nature has been a factor favoring one side over another. The Mongols mounted two invasions of Japan, both of which were crippled by storms. A Mongol siege of an Italian settlement in Crimea was hobbled by a plague that weakened the invaders sufficiently to buy time for the arrival of Italian reinforcements.

How this particular storm plays out is unclear, but early indications are that it might create opportunities for Ukraine in the days and weeks ahead, by destroying much of Russia’s deployed air assets, and possibly related warehoused parts and other supplies. Without those assets to put out fires on the front lines, the Russians will have difficulty holding back Ukrainian breakthroughs. Whether Ukraine is sufficiently prepared to take advantage of this glint of daylight is something we’ll see soon enough.
