My progressive son likes what whoever is running the WH is doing, and will vote for Biden again, regardless.
ugh. That has to sting. I hope my kid gets out of college without going prog. So far, so good. He got an internship with a conservative and he is loving it. Hope that will work out.
We know people like that. They must be lucky to be able to afford branDUHnomics. We ain’t havin’ fun.

Not that you asked, but I suggest that you work hard to separate politics from family. Better yet, bury politics when you’re around family. Your son can’t see the facts. But one day he might. So don’t burn any bridges.
I have some experience in this regard. A good 1/4 of my extended family are blue dog Democrats. They are all good people. Fine people. But they are blind. They still think the Democrat Party is the party of Truman and JFK. You can no more convince them otherwise than you could convince a Catholic cardinal to become a Buddhist.
At a typical family gathering:
Blue dog Democrat uncle: Biden is doing all he can to help working people.
Me: I’ve got a small leak in my roof. It’s driving me crazy.
Blue dog Democrat uncle: I’ll be over tomorrow to take a look. It just might be a bad shingle.
So now we’re talking about roofs instead of about Biden.
Joe will not be the nominee.
Joe will stub his toe and have an owie and will be unable to continue to run for office
So would I; Joe ain’t stupid enough to take medical advice from a “doctor” who doesn’t even PRACTTISE medicine, let alone do medicine for real money.
Same here as far as some progressive relatives from Chicago.
