Unfortunately everything in nature appears to like eating chicken. You have to build a Fort to keep them alive.
There are some seriously fattened up farmers in the plains states that could easily feed 150 people. /sarc

Don’t I know... One time we had a sick coyote with no inhibitions come right in the yard during the middle of the day with us there and break down the door to get in the run. Killed them all before I could get to a firearm and eliminate it. Funny thing was the two ducks survived, apparently they play dead which saved their lives.
Peta are sick in the head- somehow they got my sisters address and name and they were sending my sister, who was young at the time, envelopes chockerblock full of photos,of rabbits with their eyes gouged out, bloody decapitated dogs and such. It got so bad I toldthem to stop sending such filth or face a lawsuit- f8nally they took her off the mailing list
The people are insane.
This happens after every Thanksgiving day. I remember fifty two years ago when the Press sough out a vegan to see what they had for dinner. I remember him bragging about his Papaya desert. He spoke with this “I am better than YOU because I don’t eat Meat!” attitude.
PETA has a brain the size of a Turkey’s. That’s why they call it bird brain.

Correct, they are like their filthy cousin, the chicken, they’ll eat damn near anything.
Birds, pigs and goats are not discriminators when it comes to eating. Other animals too, I’m sure.
I’m reminded of the saying, “It’s a dog eat dog world”
