So all this conspiracy and CIA and killing the President of the United States and he had no alibi and was left stuttering when asked where he was at the moment when everyone else in America knows exactly where they were?

Maybe he was in Tyler Texas giving a speech to the Kiwanis club just like he and the people there say he was.

I am writing this at the Beauty Parlor, and the radio says that the President has been shot. Oh Texas — my Texas — my God — let’s hope it’s not true. I am sick at heart as we all are. Yes, the story is true and the Governor also. How hateful some people are.

Since, the beauty parlor, the President has died. We are once again on a plane. This time a commercial plane. Poppy (George H.W. Bush’s family nickname) picked me up at the beauty parlor — we went right to the airport, flew to Ft. Worth and dropped Mr. Zeppo off (we were on his plane) and flew back to Dallas.

I will add that he had a giggle fit when he spoke in commemorance of JFk just right at the moment he mentioned that JFK was assassinated.

I would fully expect a wife to lie to cover for her husband being involved in something shady. One guy giving a statement which isn't under oath does not refute a photograph that puts a man at the scene of the assassination of his political adversary. A CIA man involved in an assassination would create an alibi. That might include paying someone to lie about that alibi, or having a body double. Since G H W Bush had three brothers who may very well have been confused for him, that should be considered. His older brother Prescott Bush, Jr., the namesake of a recently retired senator, was less than two years older than G H W Bush and looked like him:
