A little chilly for a reptile, no?
You'd think so, unless the snake can find a heated place for the winter, like a warehouse, a dwelling, utility tunnel, etc.
We had a cobra get loose in Alabama one year. Big posse was sent out to look for it. I drove near the area and said to myself - they will never find that snake and they never did.
Then winter came and took care of the problem. Same thing may happen here.
