My wife and I (not seniors yet and still working) have a 1 BR, 1 guest room, 1 office, and 1 man cave with office, tv, workout and hobby room. No room for illegals here.
Sorry, the man cave would be considered and extra bedroom. Guest rooms would be considered a room you do not need too.
