I remember a long time ago, Oyster gravy and stuffing was a big thing for Thanksgiving. It was an alternative to giblet gravy and stuffing, though both of them have strong flavors.
You can make a very decent “shortcut” dressing using two boxes of Walmart’s Great Value turkey stuffing, adding a celery bunch and two large diced onions, sautéed in butter. Plus a pint of chicken livers fried brown them mashed thoroughly.
