I find it ironic that they were all gung ho to build a fence around the White House but not so much to protect the souther border. I'm trying to figure out if the hold that the CCP has on California is imperialistic or a form of colonialism. It might be a little bit of both. Imperialism is when a nation gains control over another nations politics and colonialism is when a nation gains control over people. It's probably a stretch to say that the more than 30,000 chineses students in Calfifornia are settlers.

I suspect it's probably colonialism to get a jump start on their imperialism.
Greeneyes lived near San Francisco. She said many new neighbors from China had moved into her neighborhood in the past 5 years. These neighbors would not deign to acknowledge non-Chinese when greeted or acknowledged. They pretended not to see American upstarts who dared to address them, or glared at Americans in disgust.
She said they already considered California theirs because our enemies have already mapped the terrain of the US, divided up properties and states among them, and the Chinese 'got' California. They used Satellite images to designate specific homes and property to individuals in China, who are impatiently waiting to 'move in.'
