That question nags at me too. Here’s what I think:

1) You’re correct in a way. Their equipment must be susceptible to our atmosphere in some way, or it just plain sux. Sucky equipment won’t stand up in space at all - ever. So, I stick with something atmospheric.

B) There are so many alien or UAV/UFOs swirling around the atmosphere that by numbers alone there will be accidents.

III) I have another idea that stems from Uncle Clif. This hypothesis suggests the aliens STOLE or “acquired” the tech, but don’t really know how to use it well. Therein, all the crashes.

I’d probly disagree with Uncle Clif a bit but assuming, just for fun, that the aliens are capable of building a mobile that can handle inter galactic travel maybe they just need an oil change, grease job and filter change when they get here? Maybe a couple diodes and resistors are due for rotation. Do their lazer powered inertial guidance gyro gymbals go out of calibration so they try to land 30 feet below sea level? That’s why they need to stop in at my place to freshen up. Maybe recharge their flux capacitors. Maybe those saucers were built so long ago they still use radio tubes?

But, hey, Ford makes trucks that light themselves on fire. Honda can’t make a seat belt. Who’s to say the aliens mix up English and Metric threads and it doesn’t get them back home? Maybe some models have serpentine belts on their atmospheric disgronificators? Don’t blame you for having questions?

There are countless reports of UAPs appearing out of thin air and then disappearing. It’s very well documented and this alludes to the interdimensional aspect of these beings. The earth and its environment are not their normal operational domain and may have a negative effect. There may even be a time limit associated with how long they are allowed in this dimension. Remember the three angels that came to visit Abraham. One of them was the Lord but they appeared out of thin air and had a physical component. They were able to have supper with Abraham. The resurrected Jesus was able to appear in a locked room and eat fish with the disciples. I think these crafts are made at Fallen Angel Technology Inc and as such are subject to frequent manufacture recall. If a craft like this is encountered it's best to rebuke first and ask questions later. If it's one of the good guys the rebuke will not affect them.
