I will admit to using statements to the effect that "I'm just trying to get answers to questions the Commanding General will ask when we present this to him."

Who knew that civilians, regardless of their position, would rather deal with a pushy Navy LT and an Army LTC than an irate Major General when he learns that civilians and military dependents under his care might be getting harmed because they didn't do their jobs?

I am an American by birth, a Southerner by the Grace of God, and was, for a time, a NJ resident by Act of Congress. I have mostly forgiven the Congress.
