A Southern California family is celebrating and sharing their good news after they were able to save their dog from a potentially fatal disease.
Canine infectious respiratory disease complex is a mysterious illness plaguing dogs around the country and currently has no cure. In some cases the disease is fatal.
The couple was then told to give their dog chloramphenicol, a drug of ‘last resort’ used to treat incredibly severe bacterial infections.
Within the same day, the dog was already feeling better and was eventually released from the veterinary hospital he was being held at.
