RACCOONS...
They did my cat Cougar in. There are around 10 of them that roam around our property at night. I can hear them growl and hiss at each other.
Ted Nugent said he has killed 123. I don’t remember the time frame but for sure this year. He said they destroy bird’s nests/eggs and carry disease and he is not a fan. I don’t like them eating my pecans but we didn’t have any this year and I haven’t seen any raccoons either.
Raccoons are suckers for box traps. If you have other pet type animals around and don’t want to hurt them in case they get caught then the box traps are the fix. A few meat scraps and you got ‘em. But you might also catch a skunk so tie a long cord to the trap so’s you can handle it from a distance. If you have quite a few ‘coons you need to thin them out.
My friend took care of a coyote with an AR-15 a couple of years ago - from a second floor bedroom window. In the city. 1 shot, 1 less coyote.
He had a small dog also.

Ah, sorry to hear that. When they fight with each other their shrieking will wake you up. I imagine that someone who has never heard that before would think there were real demons in the woods.
