By that standard, Russia has already achieved their objectives. Except Putin has not declared victory, is not suing for peace, and has not ordered a hold on attacking.

Russia is going for a repeat of last winter. By their actions, they still want more. The more they want is all of Ukraine.

Russia will not be going for much more. They’re mostly in a defensive posture and Ukraine is not advancing. They’ve about run out of people to do it. I know our current leaders don’t want it but it’s past time for a cease fire.
