“In the Lyman direction, the enemy is trying to find weaknesses in the Ukrainian defense. Regrouping is carried out. Due to the fact that the terrain there is more forested, more guided aerial bombs are being sent in this direction. It should be understood that this weapon has a great destructive effect due to its weight,” he said.

Fito added that the enemy is trying to carry out attacks in the Lyman direction, but has no success either in this direction or in the Kupiansk direction.

Fito said that in the Kupiansk direction, active hostilities are taking place in the direction of the Synkivka settlement. Synkivka.

“If the enemy succeeds in this direction, this will make it possible to develop offensive actions directly on Kupiansk itself and reach the banks of the Oskil River. In the Kupyansk direction, 6 enemy attacks were repelled. The enemy carried out 8 airstrikes in total in the Lyman-Kupyansk direction,” Fito said.

He said that the enemy also used guided aerial bombs, 11 drones were launched at the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In total, the enemy carried out 455 attacks. The losses of the enemy in the Lyman-Kupyansk direction during the day are 165 occupiers and 11 units of enemy equipment were destroyed, including 1 tank and 1 infantry fighting vehicle.

Fito noted that the enemy uses both infantry, assault groups, and equipment.

“There are different distances between enemy positions. Where long distances, in order to get as close as possible to the infantry, it is necessary to use armored vehicles to deliver the infantry through the fields. It is all destroyed that the intensity of the fighting at the moment is more or less stable. It depends only on weather conditions. In adverse weather, less equipment is used, but this does not apply to artillery,” he said.
