The Thing and The Hitcher on that list?!
Lists are stupid, are just opinion and are not conclusive.
When you said “the Thing” was on the list I assumed it had to be the 2011 version but nope. List invalidated
The two I also thought that should not appear on this list. Both decent movies.
I was afraid, until I saw the list, that the Original The Thing (1951) was on the list, an example of the Creature Feature done right.
Also, not gonna lie, although Battleship was AMAZINGLY stupid, the real stars of the movie - Brooklyn Decker and the USS Missouri - make it time well spent.
The original “ The Thing “ was the first sci-fi movie I saw as a kid. It was terrific. Had hero’s, professors, villainous scientists and a monster. This is all someone else’s opinion. I still watch it evert New Years day.

I consider The Thing a decent movie.
The Thing is a modern classic. Excellent movie.
