Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) such as Fenbendazole and Ivermectin require true scientific research and clinical trials to verify their effectiveness.
The “Fenbendazole scandal” where false information treating cancer, was spread over social media by cancer patient Joe Tippens. Tippin’s case became sensational in South Korea. It caused national confusion and led to fenbendazole being sold out at pharmacies across the country in South Korea. Contrary to what the people know, however, Joe Tippens was a participant in the Kitruda clinical trial at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, and his improvement was found to be the effect of immuno-cancer drugs he was taking—not fenbendazole!!!
Similar false information is like the case for Ivermectin which has been shown ineffective in treating COVID-19 (according to a multi-site study—including KU Medical Center).
Those desperate to treat their cancer with Fenbendazole; rather than known treatments, should know that, so far, studies have provided no evidence that fenbendazole would have any value in cancer therapy. This general class of compounds is still going through further scientific investigation.
