Midnight Cowboy, there was nothing wrong with the snippet of President Trump saying Bernie Moreno.   He was saying the name slowly for clarity, obviously taken from one of his rallies where he was making introductions to the crowd.

Could be. But it wouldn’t be the first time he muffed an Ohio senate candidates name.

In May, 2023, when he mentioned the candidates he’s endorsed, Trump confused JD Vance with Josh Mandel, another candidate in Ohio’s Senate Republican primary. “We’ve endorsed J.P. — right? J.D. Mandel, and he’s doing great. They’re all doing good,” the former president told thousands of rallygoers. “And let’s see what happens.”

I figured he was crossing his t’s and dotting his i’s when mentioning Moreno so as not to flub it again.
