What a shame Russia/Putin care so little for their own troops they equip them so poorly. Of course, if they really cared for their people, they would not be in this NOT-war in the first place.

If Mexico decided to form a military alliance with China and started a massive military build-up, including discussions to put Chinese "Missile Defense" missiles in Baja, Sonora, Chinuahua, Coahuila de Zaragoza, Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas would the USA stand by and do nothing?

If we explained to the Mexicans over and over that we didn't appreciate them putting our biggest adversary's giant military on our border, would we just say "oh well?".

We have history as a guide: the Cuban Missile Crisis happened.
